Tensegrity is the way nature builds things and so is another way to create structural systems.
In natural systems, we call it biotensegrity; in human-made systems, we can just call it tensegrity.

It allows the creation of resistant and lightweight structures of various sizes while reducing the amount of matter. Materials, morphologies, and configurations give particular behaviors to each system: from rigid to flexible to even dynamic.

Our kit includes wooden bars, elastic bands, and inelastic cords that allow you to weave versatile tensegrity configurations (cells and tissues). You'll get to play, experience, and experiment with the tensegrity principle in a tactile and visual manner.

Tensegrity is a new paradigm of design and biomechanics that implies a different understanding of natural and artificial systems. This kit is the physical manifestation of said paradigm.
